Rebuilding with some amazing people out there. This guy is one of them, his name is Jorge. A family I’ve been close to for over 20 years of my life had their business looted yesterday night along with other neighboring stores and restaurants. When the curfew was lifted, we spent the whole morning in cleaning up and rebuilding the area. Jorge, along with other amazing people, helped put up all these wooden panels and helped the surrounding businesses prepare for tonight if more looting were to come (hopefully not). We never knew the guy before today, he didn’t have to help but after helping his friends’ stores he saw we needed assistance. That’s so cool. Thankful for those peacefully protesting, looters are NOT a part of the main protest. While there may be a few negative effects during these trials, the positive outweigh the negative in a tremendously huge margin. People helping one another. People educating themselves on issues we may have not been aware of before. People showing love and compassion.
